(1) Those vending machines can be found at almost every street corner. They had some delicious drinks and after a ten hour walk through Tokyo I was happy to return to Minami-senju to pick up a particular drink. When I waited in Frankfurt for my train back I saw a German vending machine which offered only six drinks (coca cola)! Luckily, I still had a bottle of Suntory tea with me :-)

(2) Kakigori ice! Very yummy, very cool and available in different flavours.

(3) A Japanese man was sitting beside me and ordered soup. He probably liked his meal because he was slurping quite loudly. This is very hard getting used to!

(4) There is an ice shop near TV Asahi (Roppongi Hills) - also yummy, not in a Kakigori-way of ice but still yummy...

(5) Care about your apples like you care about your fellow humans. Those apples must feel quite well inside their half shell.
