Itsa expensive, man!

A few years ago there was an advertisement by Milka chocolate which showed an old man in the mountains. After explaning how good the chocolate is, he puts sunglasses on and says: "It's cool, man!". The ad campaign became quite famous and the man even recorded a music track. This Pinguin TV ad is a parody of this advertisment, although it's only half as funny if you don't know the original ad.

Shot at Hamburg's harbour. The setting surely looked nice but it had one disadvantage: a ship stopped at the place where we filmed, so we had to try again.

In order to appear more like a real TV station, most longer films had a commercial break. The advertisements were, like this one, parodies of existing ones. Other film teams who broadcasted their work on the Offener Kanal also did "commercial breaks", since it looked quite cool and professional.
