Birdy's Christmas

This is my first christmas movie, send out as a video greeting card to friends.
The little bird Bird dreams of a real christmas eve with presents and a christmas tree. Unfortunately, he doesn't have any money and therefore attempts to steal a tree. But how can he avoid the owner of the christmas tree store and his employee, the security penguin? Birdy tries to trick them...

Birdy's Christmas was made and cut in about eight hours.

The film was finished on the 24th of December - the day, when the christmas presents are given out.

It's like a trick film without tricks: The figures were moved using pens or strings.

This is the first Pinguin TV film which was edited digitally on my computer.

The whole film was shot in my kitchen. Three large, white pieces of paper were used to create a film "studio".

The owner of the christmas tree store is in fact Elrond from "Lord of the Rings".
